According Adobe’s research, the online sales level on Black Friday in USA has reached $3 billion. It is remarkable that the majority of consumers shopped from mobile devices. Adobe Digital Insights fixed significant growth of sales this year in comparison with 2015 – up 11.4%.

TechCrunch paid special attention to the role of mobile devices in achieving record indicators on Thanksgiving and Black Friday in its report. Particularly Walmart and Target said that the mobile traffic share on Thanksgiving was 70 and 60 percent respectively. Talking about the statistics of retailer sites visits, 56% of potential buyers used mobile gadgets: 47% preferred smartphones and 9% browsed from tablets.

Tamara Gaffney, Principal Analyst and Director in Adobe Digital Insights, claims that there was a decline in online shopping activity after the elections in USA, but now consumers come back online. Moreover, the expected level of sales on Cyber Monday is higher than on Black Friday – $3.36 billion.

In addition to this, it was counted that the average order cost in days of sales on iOS devices was $144 versus $136 on Android.

The list of the most popular Black Friday products included: Apple iPad, Samsung 4K TV, Apple MacBook Air, LG TV and Microsoft Xbox.
