MWC is one of the most important industry events of the year, when companies from around the world show hundreds of devices in five days (at this year from 27 February to 3 March). On the first day, many handset manufacturers have presented their new products to consumers.
Oppo has demonstrated 5x zoom technology for thin smartphones, which now exists only in theory. The size of camera module was significantly reduced to 5.7 mm, while image still can be enlarged several times. It is unknown the focus length of camera, and how the module will affect on weight and actual phone construction. But technology can be considered as breakthrough.
ZTE has announced two models of budget smartphones, such as Blade V8 Lite and Blade V8 Mini. Both devices run on Android N, have 5-inch display, 2GB of RAM and fingerprint sensor. Blade V8 Mini uses Snapdragon 435 processor, Blade V8 Lite has MediaTek 6750. Colors of new ZTE smartphones resembles iPhone 5c.
Sony has unveiled at MWC range of new devices. XZ Premium combines all the latest developments of the company. This is the first device with 4K HDR display, Motion Eye technology in 19-megapixel camera, which allows to shoot even spray of water with high definition. Back side of XZ Premium is made of metal, smartphone is waterproof and high performance, thanks to Snapdragon 820 processor .
In addition, Sony will launch Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra, running on Mediatek Helio P20 processor and equipped with edge-to-edge display. New software in Xperia Actions devices allows to remember owner habits and change phone and apps settings automatically. Start of the sales is expected in spring 2017.
